About Me

Bonnie and her husband, Patrick, own and operate Mulberry Lane Farm located 3 miles east of Sherwood, WI. Their petting farm also hosts barn weddings from mid-May to mid-September. Bonnie is responsible for HR, advertising, marketing, field trip reservations, and wedding viewings and contracts. While her husband Patrick takes care of the animals, farming, and everyday farm care Bonnie tends to be behind the scenes and finds herself most comfortable in the office.

2023 Session Descriptions

After 17 years of operating and the continued struggle of finding a shortage in the labor market, in 2022 they turned to hiring an H2A worker from Honduras to get them through the season. For 2023 they'll also host a family from Ukraine through the U4U program. Bonnie will share her experience with the process.

During the Agricultural Tourism Tours session, she'll share how they started their Educational Tours program back in 2005 and how that has shifted in our ever-changing climate including recessions and COVID.
