Farmer, Advocate, & WATA Board Member Sue Nelson serves on the Renewable Energy Siting and Engagement for Tomorrow (RESET) Advisory Committee, Community member of Green County Human Services Board, Green County Community Health Improvement Plan - Housing emphasis, South Central WI Farmers Union, and the Soil Sisters. She is also a member of DANDO, formerly the Multicultural Outreach Program, a nonprofit that supports refugees in the area. And a 2024 Stewardship Ambassador for Women, Food and Agriculture Network. Previously a two term County Board Supervisor in Green County, WI. Sue chaired the Agriculture and Extension Educators committee, as well as being a member of Zoning and Land Use, Board of Health and Land & Water Conservation committees. Her work and leadership on agricultural tourism while a member of the Green County Zoning and Land Use Committee was recognized with the designation of 2024 Friend of Agriculture Tourism presented by Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association. nelsonsusan55@gmail.com
