About Me

Dr. Mary Hausbeck is from Michigan State University where she serves as a University Distinguished Professor and Extension Specialist. Her responsibilities and current research areas include Phytophthora on cucurbits and peppers, downy and powdery mildews of cucurbits, and diseases of carrots, onions, and asparagus. Greenhouse ornamental and vegetable crops are also part of her research and extension program. Her extension program strives to provide pertinent information to growers to limit diseases in an economical and sustainable manner.
