About Me

Bio – Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson, a lifelong Christmas Tree grower and agronomist. Drawing on his extensive experience with Christmas Tree production and soil fertility, he aims to address challenges faced by growers in Wisconsin’s agriculture sector.

Eric grew up on a Christmas Tree and beef farm in west-central Wisconsin. His family business, started by his father, expanded over the years to include dairy farming. After a farming accident redirected his career, Eric earned a degree in Broad Area Agriculture with an emphasis on Agronomy and Ag Engineering from UW-River Falls. With over three decades as an agronomist and experience as a CCA-certified professional (1995–2018), Eric has developed a deep understanding of soil fertility's impact on crops, including Christmas Trees.

Having applied his knowledge to improve his family's tree production, Eric now shares his insights to help other growers enhance their operations. His convention talk will focus on the vital role of soil fertility in Christmas Tree crop production, continuing his commitment to supporting Wisconsin's agricultural community.
