About Me

Matt Raboin co-owns Brix Cider in Mount Horeb along with his wife Marie. Brix Cider was formed in 2016 and makes 100% locally grown hard ciders using apples from Wisconsin orchards. Brix Cider also includes a restaurant with a truly farm-to-table menu where over two thirds of all ingredients are Wisconsin grown.

Matt has a Masters degree in Agroecology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also worked for 3 years as a Research and Outreach Specialist with the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems. Prior to that, Matt spent 4 years as an Agricultural Development Officer with the US Agency for International Development and 2 years as a Peace Corps volunteer.
