About Me

Krystal Martin currently serves as the Environmental Health Services Supervisor for the Safe Wisconsin Produce Program, under the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protections (DATCP), and in cooperative agreement with the FDA. She has conducted and overseen food safety education and regulation with various sections of DATCP for nearly five years, before which she spent time working in produce production, on wholesale farms, community-supported agriculture operations and market-based enterprises. Krystal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences, enjoys getting her hands dirty in her garden and spending time with family in the great Northwoods.
