About Me

Kristin Krokowski is the UW-Madison Extension Commercial Horticulture Educator
Her research and programming focus on produce safety, farmers' markets and the success of small to medium size fruit and vegetable growers throughout Wisconsin. She is a Lead Trainer for the Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Alliance Training, The Food Safety Modernization Act State Lead for the Northcentral Region and has been trained in the Harmonized GAP Standard to provide training and technical assistance to produce growers. Kristin is also involved in her family’s fresh market vegetable farm where they grow over 50 different crops for sale at farmers’ markets and farm stands in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties.
